What's New for the 2026 Mazda CX-70?

The Mazda CX-70 is a relatively new addition to the SUV scene. Given that it's a new car to start with, the CX-70 is not expected to have major changes for the 2026 model year. Instead, the SUV will carry over with a powerful turbo engine, quality interior materials, and a sport handling system. You can also choose your drivetrain with the CX-70.

What Are the 2026 Mazda CX-70 Trims & Features?

The base model is the 3.3 Turbo Preferred. With this trim, you'll get many standard features, including self-leveling LED headlights. The base model rides on 19-inch wheels, and it is equipped with a power liftgate. A sunroof is also standard. Inside, you'll get a three-zone climate control system and upscale leather seats. The front seats are also power-adjustable and heated, and the back seats have a versatile split-folding design. The back row of seats includes a sunshade to eliminate strong UV rays. For technology, you'll get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an eight-speaker sound system, Amazon Alexa, USB ports in the first two rows, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display screen.

The second trim, which is the 3.3 Turbo Premium, upgrades to 21-inch wheels, along with a 12-speaker sound system, upgraded cabin lighting, a hands-free power liftgate, and more safety aids.

The 3.3 Turbo S Premium and the PHEV Premium are both identical in their amenities, although the PHEV is an alternative-power version of the Mazda. Both have a power-adjustable steering wheel and adaptive headlights, along with a panoramic sunroof. The 3.3 Turbo has a heated steering wheel and premium leather seats that are climate-controlled in addition to what both trims provide.

The 3.3 Turbo Premium Plus has premium leather seats, heated rear seats, heated and cooled front seats, and additional safety aids.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Mazda CX-70 Have?

With the 3.3 Turbo models, you'll get a turbo V6 engine that produces 280 horsepower. The Turbo S produces 340 horsepower. The PHEV variant uses a 2.5L engine and an electric motor to produce 323 horsepower and 26 miles of electric range.
