What's New For the 2019 Mazda6?

The 2019 Mazda6 receives a number of refreshes to the interior of the vehicle as well as a number of safety feature upgrades. Starting with the interior, the Mazda6 standard 7-inch color touchscreen display now allows you to reconfigure the information to make the interface even more useful and intuitive than ever before. The Mazda6 will offer ventilated front seats for the first time in the 2019 model. Also available are Nappa leather seat trim and UltraSuede NU on the higher trim levels. The MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the first time. Lower trims of the Mazda6 will receive a number of advanced safety features as standard including Lane Departure Warning, Low-Speed & Full-Speed Emergency Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Latest Mazda6 Trims & Features

The Mazda6 is available in five trims for the 2019 model year. The base Sport trim offers the following key features: LED headlights with auto-leveling LED Daytime Running Lights, Auto-off headlights, Variable-intermittent windshield wipers, Body colored power side mirrors with integrated turn signals, Dual-zone automatic climate control with pollen filter, Power windows with one-touch auto up/down, Power automatic door locks and an 8-inch full-color touch screen display. The Touring trim offers many features of the Sport trim plus Dual exhaust outlets with chrome tips, 17 inch by 7.5 inch aluminum alloy with Gun Metallic finish, P225/55R17 all-season tires, Leather-wrapped steering wheel, and Leather-wrapped gear selector.

The mid-level Grand Touring trim offers many features of the Touring trim plus LED headlights with auto-leveling, High Beam Control, 19 inch by 7.5 inch aluminum alloy with Gun Metallic finish, P225/45R19 all-season tires, Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry System, Leatherette-trimmed sport seats, 6-way power driver's seat with manual lumbar support, Bose® Centerpoint® 2 Surround Sound audio system with AudioPilot® 2 and 11 speakers. The Grand Touring Reserve trim offers many features from the Grand Touring trim plus Adaptive Front-lighting System, Rear deck lid spoiler, Leather-trimmed sport seats, 8-way power driver's seat with power lumbar support and Leather-wrapped heated steering wheel with paddle shifters.

The top of the line Signature trim offers many features found on the Grand Touring Reserve trim plus Power sliding-glass moonroof with one-touch-open feature and interior sunshade, Nappa leather-trimmed sport seats, Sen wood door and dashboard trim inserts and Ultrasuede® door and dashboard trim inserts.

2019 Mazda6 Performance Highlights

For the 2019 model year, the Mazda6 offers two powertrains. The base SKYACTIV® 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder Engine with VVT provides up to 187 horsepower and 186 foot-pounds of torque. This engine is standard on the Sport and Touring trim. The more powerful SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter Dynamic Pressure Turbo DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with VVT offers up to 250 horsepower at 5000 rpm. This more powerful engine is standard on the Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve and Signature trim.
