This past February, the Mazda Foundation announced $586,361 in 2026 grant funding to support nine nonprofit partners that deliver critical programs in STEM, food security, and education. The funding will also support workforce development throughout the communities that the Mazda Foundation serves. This year's investments represent the Foundation's ongoing commitment to long-term partnerships that create new opportunities and strengthen community resilience.

In particular, food security remains a major cornerstone of Mazda's philanthropic efforts. 2026 marks 20 years of partnership between the Mazda Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank in Irvine, CA. The Foundation also seeks to strengthen its investment in STEM and education organizations such as FUSE Studios in Greater Chicago and Huntsville, AL, and AVID programs in Brooklyn, NY, and Harris County, TX. It will also continue its commitment to the Robotics Competition and Education Foundation in Huntsville, as well as College Track L.A. in Los Angeles, CA.

Other partners benefiting from this grant funding include Vehicles for Change in Halethorpe, MD; Bracken's Kitchen in Garden Grove, CA; Working Wardrobes in Santa Ana, CA; and the American Cancer Society in Irvine, CA.

This blend of old and new nonprofit partnerships reaffirms the Mazda Foundation's commitment to community growth. To learn more about the Mazda Foundation, visit them online at www.mazdafoundation.org. If you're in the market for a new Mazda vehicle, visit Joe Myers Mazda in Houston, TX.
