The New Vehicle Limited Warranty covers any materials or workmanship with defects up to 36,000 miles or 36 months, depending on which comes first. This is a transferable limited warranty that comes with all-new Mazda models.

Powertrain Limited Warranty

The Powertrain Warranty covers all new models sold and serviced in the U.S. and can also be transferred during the warranty period. The coverage is up to 60,000 miles or 60 months, whichever comes first. This warranty covers all parts and components related to the powertrain due to defects in materials and workmanship.

RX-8 Rotary Engine Core Limited Warranty Extension

The RX-8 Rotary Engine Core Limited Warranty Extension extends coverage to 8 years from the original warranty start date with a mileage limitation of 100,000 miles. The RX-8 components covered by this warranty include the internal seals and gaskets and the rotary housing and internal parts.

24/7 Roadside Assistance

Mazda offers 24/7 roadside assistance to Mazda owners who become stranded due to defective parts covered by the warranties. Towing service is provided to the nearest Mazda dealership for up to 36 months or 36,000 miles if the vehicle is not drivable due to a warranted part failure during the coverage period of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

If the vehicle is not drivable due to the failure of a warranted powertrain part, then towing service is available for the first 60 months or 60,000 miles. And if a Mazda RX-8 is not drivable due to the failure of a warranted rotary engine core component, then towing service will be covered for the first 96 months or 100,000 miles.
