What's New For the 2020 Mazda CX-5?

What Features are Available for 2020?

The 2020 Mazda CX-5 is split into Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature trims. The last two mentioned trims are only available as all-wheel-drive vehicles; the other three offer the choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Two rows of cloth seats-facing a leather-wrapped steering wheel-seat up to five people. Front-seat heating, leatherette seat covering, and driver-side 6-way power with manual lumbar support appear on the Touring.

At the Grand Touring level, the CX-5 is upgraded with leather seats, 8-way power with power lumbar support and 2-position memory on the driver's seat, and 6-way power on the front passenger seat. Rear-seat heating and front-seat ventilation are introduced on the Grand Touring Reserve. And unique to the Signature are leather-trimmed seats and steering-wheel heating. Standard comfort and convenience features on the compact crossover include cruise control, remote keyless entry with push-button engine start, Bluetooth, HD Radio, four-speaker audio with AM/FM radio, Mazda Connect infotainment integration, two USB ports, and an auxiliary audio jack, and a 7-inch touchscreen.

At the Touring level, the CX-5 is upgraded with dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and start system, two additional speakers, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, and two additional USB ports. Paddle shifters, auto-dimming ability on the rearview mirror, a garage-door opener, a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio, and a 10-speaker Bose stereo system appear on the Grand Touring. Starting from the Grand Touring Reserve, you get an 8-inch touchscreen instead of the 7-inch. Eight-inch touchscreen navigation and three years of SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link services are unique to the Signature.
