The Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trims are joined this year by the Signature trim. The Signature will include upgrades to the Grand Touring making it the top of the line for CX-5. Highlights of the Sport trim include MAZDA CONNECT Infotainment System with voice command and a 7-inch touch display. This affords 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque giving the lightweight CX-5 a power boost.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert notifies the driver if anything passes behind the car while reversing. Smart brake support assists drivers by activating the brakes in the event a collision is imminent. Adaptive front lighting allows drivers to better see around corners. High beam control automatically adjusts the intensity of the headlights when needed.
