For 2019, Mazda has returned the admirable Mazda CX-3 to make the best better and elevate the SUV to a more sophisticated and efficient level of performance.
Mazda has accomplished this by refining the interior with upgraded materials, including installing quality insulation to reduce road noise and furnishing seats in all-leather. In the Mazda CX-3, Mazda has redesigned the spacing of the center armrest and console in order to facilitate increased storage for drivers. The rear armrests have been redesigned as well, complete with cupholders.
And the exterior wasn't left out of the upgrade. New wheels, a new grille, and new lights on the backend showcase the 2019 Mazda CX-3's unique body style.
The 2019 Mazda CX-3 is offered in three available trims:
The Sport comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system with voice command and hands-free calling via Bluetooth, blind spot monitoring, and power windows, locks, mirrors, and a push-button start.
The Touring trim of the Mazda CX-3 is mid-level, but its features are anything but. The Touring offers 18-inch wheels and piano black pillar accents. Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry is also available on this trim, as well as black leatherette heated seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, and a leather shift knob.
The top trim level for the Mazda CX-3 is the Grand Touring. Like the Touring, the Grand Touring features new wheels and accents, but the surprise here is the all leather seats in black or Parchment include high-gloss piping accents.
And if you want even more luxury, the available Grand Touring Premium Package option ensures the comfort of the driver with a power seat that can be adjusted six ways, lumbar support in the seat, heated steering wheel, and a rearview mirror that automatically dims based on the ambient lighting outside.
For 2019, Mazda gave the CX-3 an upgraded SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine. Combine that with the six-speed automatic transmission and you've got an efficient machine. The engine gets 148 horsepower and 146 pounds-per-foot of torque. The power steering and suspension have been recalibrated for a smoother ride.
For added safety, Mazda offers the Sport i-Activsense package. With features like Advanced Smart City Brake Support, Lane Departure Warning, and windshield wipers with rain sensing capability, you'll feel secure no matter the conditions.
The Touring also ups the ante on safety with its Touring i-Activsense package, similar to that of the Sport trim. You can also add the available Touring Preferred Equipment Package if you want a speaker system passengers will envy. The Bose 7-speaker sound system will make driving a dream. Open the power moonroof and driving just became a whole new experience.
Mazda Navigation on this trim ensures you'll never be without a destination in this vehicle. LED fog lights and LED daytime running lights add to the vehicle's visibility and overall safety, turning heads wherever it goes.
