It’s rated to develop 187 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, thus allowing you to enjoy responsive acceleration. A six-speed automatic transmission handles the shifting duties.
You can tailor the SUV’s performance by choosing between Normal, Sport, and Off-Road driving modes. Mazda’s i-Activ AWD system also comes standard on both trims. Like the CX-50 Select, the CX-50 Meridian Edition can tow up to 2,000 pounds when properly equipped.

The value-focused Select trim boasts an impressive list of standard equipment. Its Mazda Connect infotainment system features a 10.25-inch display with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Meanwhile, music listeners can enjoy the SUV’s eight-speaker audio system. Some of the other highlights include wireless charging, Alexa Built-in, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a full suite of advanced safety technologies.
