Plug-in Hybrid Option
While new Mazda SUVs are naturally efficient, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 takes it up a notch with its plug-in hybrid version. The 2025 Mazda CX-70 PHEV is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, which consists of an e-SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a 68-kW electric motor. Together, they efficiently deliver up to 323 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The Honda Passport isn’t available with a plug-in hybrid or a standard hybrid powertrain, making it a less versatile choice.
Intuitive Technology
The 2025 Mazda CX-70 boasts a high-tech interior loaded with innovative features. It comes standard with an expansive 12.3-inch full-color center display, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, and Alexa Built-in integration. It’s also available with a 12-speaker Bose® Centerpoint® surround sound system with AudioPilot® for superior sound quality. The Honda Passport only has an eight-inch touchscreen, doesn’t have wireless capabilities for its smartphone integration, and doesn’t offer Alexa Built-in or a Bose® sound system.
Premium Amenities
It’s tough for any vehicle to compete with the intricate craftsmanship of a Mazda SUV, as well as its top-of-the-line materials and amenities.
