On February 28, Prime Video announced the March 25 premiere of First to the Finish, a new docuseries made in partnership with Boardwalk Pictures and in association with GroupM Motion Entertainment. First to the Finish will take viewers inside the Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship, a dynamic racing series for young up-and-coming drivers.
The docuseries will focus on the challenges associated with getting started in racing through the point of view of drivers Heather Hadley and Sally Mott and BSI Racing team owner Shea Holbrook. Heather Hadley first gained the attention of the motorsports world during her rookie year in the 2023 Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship and is balancing a career as a professional racecar driver while attending UNC-Charlotte as a senior. Sally Mott is a rookie driver from Crawford, TX. She is fresh out of high school and has turned all of her focus and attention on racing. Meanwhile, Shea Holbrook is the heart of the BSI Racing team. She raced professionally for six years and has won championships at all levels of the sport. A team ownership role is new for her, but she is a widely respected and indomitable force in the racing world.
First to the Finish will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in North America. It is directed by award-winning Annetta Marion.
