
Mazda announced plans for introducing three new Mazda SUVs for 2023. The three new SUVs are designated the CX-60, CX-70, and CX-90. The CX-50 is expected to be based on the FR Large Architecture platform and will first debut in 2021. The CX-70 and CX-90 will utilize the new longitudinal platform with an option for a plug-in hybrid engine.

2023 Mazda CX-50
The new Mazda CX-50 is a mid-size SUV crossover based on the CX-30 platform. The CX-50 will have more up-market premium features with a coupe-like style. In addition, the overall appearance should be more stylish and slightly longer.
The new Mazda CX-50 will be an all-wheel drive SUV that will utilize the new FR Large Architecture. An inline-six 3.0-liter gasoline engine will be the powertrain. The new engines should be either turbocharged or twin-turbocharged and expected to produce up to 250 hp.
2023 Mazda CX-70 and CX-90
The CX-70 will be a two-row SUV model, and the CX-90 will be a three-row seater. Both SUVs will be either a next-generation turbocharged inline-six or a plug-in hybrid powertrain utilizing an inline-four engine. In addition, the new CX-70 and CX-90 models will be standard with all-wheel drive.
The new CX-70 and CX-90 models are based on Mazda's new FR Large Architecture. In addition, both models will feature a wide-bodied design, sloping roofs, and aggressive styling.
