2021 Mazda6 Exterior

What's New For the 2021 Mazda6?

This year, the Mazda6 has an updated infotainment system. Every trim now provides Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for hassle-free smartphone integration. Meanwhile, Mazda tuned the sedan's available turbocharged engine to develop more torque. An all-new Carbon Edition trim has arrived as well. Not only does this special-edition model add an exclusive Polymetal Gray paint color, but it also decks out the Mazda6 with black exterior accents and exclusive 19-inch wheels. Red leather upholstery with gray stitching covers the interior.

Available Features in the 2021 Mazda6

There are six trims in the lineup: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, Carbon Edition, and Signature. The base Mazda6 Sport is perfect for drivers who are looking to save money. It comes loaded with plenty of value-packed features. Drivers will enjoy using the standard 8.0-inch Mazda Connect touchscreen, which provides a console-mounted controller knob for more effortless operation. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard.

As you climb the trim ladder, you'll have access to even more niceties. The 11-speaker Bose premium audio system delivers a powerful listening experience, and the available Active Driving Display projects your speed and other info onto the lower windshield. Heated/ventilated front seats and heated rear seats ensure an even more comfortable ride regardless of the weather.

A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency

When checking out the new 2021 Mazda6, you'll have two exceptional powertrains to choose from. Mazda's popular 2.5-liter, Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine comes standard. It develops a satisfying 187 horsepower while returning up to an EPA-estimated 35 mpg. If you desire a more potent punch, step up to the turbocharged version of this engine. Output increases to a muscular 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Every new Mazda6 uses a six-speed automatic transmission.

Safety Features in the Forefront for 2021

The Mazda6 has a range of safety features. A total of eight i-Activsense safety technologies come standard, including Smart Brake Support and blind-spot monitoring. Parking sensors and a surround-view camera system are found on the range-topping Signature trim.
