Mazda 2022 MX-30

The 2022 Mazda MX-30 is a sharp-looking and sporty electric crossover. The MX-30 will get some changes for the 2022 model year, including the fact that it is now available with two distinct powertrains: a plug-in hybrid and a fully electric car. The Mazda MX-30 will also have some aesthetic changes, including a sloping roofline and rear-hinged doors. The MX-30's exterior also has black trim accents that enhance its sporty look.

The Mazda MX-30 will be released in the U.S. market beginning in fall 2021 with California dealerships and will come to other states at a later date. We will keep you posted as additional details about the model are released. Please contact us with inquiries in the meantime and learn more about the MX-30 below.

For power in 2022, the Mazda MX-30 will get either a rotary engine or an electric powertrain. The electric MX-30 has an electric motor and a battery for power with a total capacity of 35.5 kWh. The plug-in hybrid version of the MX-30 uses an electric motor as well. It also has a rotary-style gasoline engine under the hood. All-wheel drive is available for the hybrid plug-in Mazda MX-30, while the fully electric MX-30 has front-wheel drive. The MX-30 will get about 250 miles of range with combined power. It can be recharged with either AC or DC power.

Its powertrain is not the only area where the Mazda MX-30 has an innovative design. The MX-30's cabin is made of sustainable materials such as recycled bottles and corks, which help create its comfortable seats and soft-touch interior. The MX-30 fits five people with generous headroom all around and plentiful legroom in the back row. The cabin also has a modern design with a floating center console. A digital touchscreen interface lets occupants take charge of the vehicle's interior climate controls, such as cabin heating and air conditioning. The digital touchscreen also provides updates and real-time information about the MX-30's performance and health. A separate infotainment touchscreen houses the vehicle's infotainment features such as the navigation system, backup camera, and sound system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard amenities. The 2022 MX-30 also has several advanced safety aids, including automated emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, pedestrian detection, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The Mazda MX-30 will be produced in four trim levels in 2022. The first trim level is the Sport, followed by the Touring and the Grand Touring. The Signature trim, which has luxuries such as leather upholstery and heated seats, tops the line. The Mazda MX-30 will have warranty coverage and preventative maintenance coverage as well. The MX-30 will have limited warranty coverage of three years or 36,000 miles. Its powertrain warranty will cover five years or up to 60,000 miles.
