2022 Mazda3 Hatchback Trims & Features

Drivers who are on a tighter budget will love the entry-level 2.5 S trim. It comes loaded with a number of must-have features. Highlights include an 8.8-inch infotainment display, an eight-speaker stereo system, and push-button start.

Drivers seeking more luxury can step up to the Select trim. While larger 18-inch alloy wheels boost the hatchback's curb appeal, dual-zone automatic climate control elevates comfort. Meanwhile, Mazda's Advanced Key makes it easier to lock/unlock the doors.

Another notch up the trim ladder is the Mazda3 Hatchback Preferred. It brings heated front seats, a power sunroof, and an upgraded power driver's seat with power lumbar support.

The newest trim is the Mazda3 Hatchback Carbon Edition. Aside from exclusive interior and exterior details, it also features a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system.

The Premium trim provides even more high-tech goodies, including a head-up display and navigation. Adaptive headlights improve nighttime visibility.

Drivers who yearn for more performance may want the 2.5 Turbo trim. Aside from packing more muscle under the hood, it also receives an AWD system as standard equipment.

Atop the range sits the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus trim. It comes packed with all the available amenities and advanced safety tech.

2022 Mazda3 Hatchback Horsepower

Most people will be perfectly pleased with the standard 2.5L Skyactiv-G engine. It kicks out a satisfying 186 horsepower. Folks seeking more performance can upgrade to the hatchback's 2.5L Skyactiv-G Turbo engine. It raises the fun meter with 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. Remember, all-wheel drive is available as well.
